The fact is, these baskets are so safe that they can be flipped upside down and still retain all subs securely inside. In addition, SafeSub^® basket subs are stacked vertically, helping to prevent pinch points which can cause serious injury. Our innovative design also eliminates the need for lifting straps and plugs – thus removing the risk of slippage during transport. Additionally, subs are locked into place with a safety cable, a safety chain, two removable pins and a stabilizing brace to ensure steady, safe moving of subs. As a result of all this, SafeSub^® offshore baskets are roughneck-proof – and are also designed for easy operation.

 

• Efficiency in Handling Subs – SafeSub^® increases efficiency by allowing subs to be contained vertically, which permits easier access to all subs. This product has transformed how oilfield applications access and manipulate subs offshore. Traditionally, subs have been transported horizontally in cargo baskets loaded atop each other. This old method is unproductive and also increases the risks for injury. SafeSub^® also helps to eliminate time wasted by roughnecks, as well as eliminating the need for cranes to adjust horizontal subs in order to utilize the needed sub.
